Description Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy Department at St. Lukes Rehabilitation Institute Shift Details: On-Call, Variable Shift Under the general direction of the Program Manager, the Respiratory Therapist Clinician provides direct patient care by utilizing appropriate knowledge and skills in collaboration with other members of the health care team, providing skilled, creative, discipline-specific therapeutic services to cardiopulmonary patients. The Respiratory Therapist will work collaboratively utilizing current best practice to manage the patient care within a multidisciplinary team, to create the best possible outcome for our patients. The therapist may supervise volunteers, students, or other supportive personnel. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful, and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the medical center, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times. Required Qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
