Providence St. Joseph Health Medical Staff Coordinator - CREDENTIALING in Spokane, Washington

Description The Provider Transition Coordinator is responsible for collaborating, facilitating, and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a successful transition for all new Providence employed providers. Responsibilities of this role are to effectively communicate with providers throughout the onboarding and off boarding process. This may include responding to general questions, identifying and resolving issues, researching and resolving inquiries from the providers. The incumbent is also responsible for performing some initial credentialing and government enrollment functions. Following initial provider credentialing the Provider Concierge also facilitates re-credentialing with both Medical Staff Services and the Delegated Credentialing Committee and maintains group enrollments with federal and non-delegated payers. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Health care administration, business administration or related field. Or equivalent educ/experience Six (6) years of experience working directly with physicians in a clinical setting will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. 2 years Healthcare experience working with physicians in a clinic or hospital setting. Desktop software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project. Clinical applications, including, but not limited to, Epic, Centricity Business, MSOW, ProvConnect, ProvReports, and Selectica (Physician Contract software). PC peripherals and other office or AV equipment, such as digital projectors, FAX, copier. Why Join Providence?
