Salary Range: $4,093 - $5,501

Non-Permanent Classified position.

**Starting salary for this position is: $4,093 (Monthly)

Employees hired at the entry step of this range receive salary step advancement after six months and every 12 months thereafter. An employee hired at anything higher than the entry step of the range will have salary step advancement after 12 months and every 12 months thereafter until they reach the top of the salary range. Each salary step advancement will be approximately a 5% increase.**

About Us 

We are a community college district comprised of two accredited colleges, Spokane Community College (SCC) and Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC). In addition to serving a large urban and suburban population in greater Spokane, the district provides educational services to rural communities throughout a 12,302 square-mile region in Eastern Washington. This region includes all of Spokane, Stevens, Whitman, Ferry, and Pend Oreille Counties, as well as portions of Lincoln County.

Both colleges of CCS are accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and governed by the Washington State Board of Community and Technical Colleges.

About the Media Maintenance Tech 3

[JOB SUMMARY]{.underline}

Under general direction in the IT division of Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) Customer Support Services, the Media Maintenance Technician will perform complex media maintenance, troubleshooting, construction, and repair work as a senior-level technician. Responsibilities include designing and installing specialized multi-media equipment, recommending updates, supporting media control systems, and assisting in media solution planning. This position will respond to user issues and requests and receive work orders through CCS IT Customer Support ticketing system.

[CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES]{.underline}

Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and test media equipment and systems such as televisions, monitors, amplifiers, audio/video distribution systems, cable, classroom presentation equipment, projection systems, sound systems, and ITV equipment. *

Assist in the development of CCS media standards for the setup and installation of media equipment. May generate block diagrams and select components when assisting with installation planning. Use hand and power tools for media equipment repairs and installations. *

Recommend, update, and provide replacement service work for current and new media control systems. *

Setup, operate, maintain and provide basic training for hybrid-enabled classroom and learning spaces *
