What you will do: Planning/Scheduling Leads a team that implements master production schedules for all paper machines Develop specific master production schedule for cycle machine that maintain healthy inventory, deliver internal converting needs, and optimize paper machines Collaborate with S&OP team to develop long term plan Develop finite parent roll sales plan Collaborate with operations to develop and execute monthly plans that optimize paper machines to drive efficiencies and tons Develop and execute parent roll transfers to maintain healthy inventory levels while factoring in warehouse space Assist in monthly S&OP preparation and annual budgeting process Problem Solving/Leadership Supervise finite scheduling team and develop annual performance plans Ensure appropriate communication takes place for schedules changes Assist in developing paper machine curtailments to manage inventory levels as needed. Act as SME for the Value Chain Planning (VCP) suite Cost improvement Participate in customer specific, warehouse and sales and operation planning process to continuously improve process to drive optimized cost performance and expected service performance Participate in item transition calls lead by inventory analyst to execute run understand paper implications Maintain sourcing grid to optimize costs, improve service and maximize production Develops sourcing changes to optimize costs, improve service and maximize production Key Competencies & Attributes Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); leading and presenting complex materials for various audiences Advanced proficiency with related ERP system preferred Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making abilities Ability to quickly adapt and facilitate changing market conditions High degree of business curiosity; quick learner with a proactive and agile mindset Ability to develop and leverage data to quantitively and analytically make business decisions What you will need: Bachelor's degree preferred, in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Material Management or Operations Management. Minimum five (5) years' experience in manufacturing, scheduling, inventory management or related field Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably JDE/Oracle and understanding of master data in an integrated system Must have the ability to communicate and interface effectively with internal work groups Demonstrated understanding of the demand triggers in manufacturing and their interdependencies (sales, production, work orders) Advanced Microsoft Office skills required Highly motivated and results-oriented with ability to work under pressure Team player, positive attitude, excellent initiative, and problem-solving abilities Proven analytical thinker; shows ability to analyze complex and sometimes conflicting data in order to reach logical conclusions Primarily office environment Keyboarding; long periods of sitting and viewing computer monitor Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment in the manufactu
