Reddaway Fueler / Mechanic (Non-Union) - Spokane, WA in Spokane, Washington

Job Description


The primary function of a Fueler is to efficiently fuel the necessary equipment. Perform the work required in a timely manner and maintain adequate production in order to meet service schedules. Understands and carries out instructions given orally and in writing.


  1. Responsible for daily fueling all tractor-trailers.

  2. Verify and replenish all fluid levels (oil, water, etc.) daily.

  3. Check and maintain proper tire pressure daily on trucks and trailers.

  4. Change tires on trailers, dollies & tractors.

  5. Minor repairs on electrical and air systems.

  6. Follow safety rules and regulations.

Job Requirements


  1. Valid driver's license and good driving record, CDL not required.

  2. Able to drive both standard and automatic shift transmissions.

  3. Able to drive all classes of vehicles with air and hydraulic brakes.


  1. Operate fuel delivery pump.

  2. Mechanical aptitude.


This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.


The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying. Occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying 10 lbs of supplies and materials is required.
