Engineering Instructor - Adjunct - Spokane Falls Community College Community Colleges of Spokane Location: Spokane Falls Main Campus Spokane Department: SFCC Physical Science Engineer Open continuous. Starting salary for this position is: $40.83 - $86.87 per hour based on workload category. This is an adjunct (part-time) position. Compensation will be pro-rated according to the amount of workload assigned. CCS reserves the right to cancel this recruitment without notice. About Us Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) is seeking qualified candidates for consideration of employment as an Engineering Adjunct Instructor in the Computing, Math & Science Division. We seek applicants for an adjunct winter quarter (2024) position. Engineering program at SFCC works collaboratively with math, physics, chemistry and biology to support students on three Engineering degree tracks. The Engineering program is specifically looking for a candidate for winter quarter who can teach the Engineering Problems and Orientation lecture and Engineering Projects Lecture/Laboratory combination. These are second quarter courses for Engineering students. Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) is a beautiful campus located in the inland Pacific Northwest, on the ancestral home of the Spokane Tribe, near the Spokane River. About the Engineering Instructor - Adjunct - Spokane Falls Community College CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepares for and instructs transfer-level classes (lecture and laboratory) in the discipline of Engineering • Communicate expectations and establish clear grading criteria through appropriate instructional means, to include but not limited to developing course syllabi, handouts, and materials supporting the instructional process; evaluates student progress and provides clear, timely feedback. * • Provide availability and accessibility to students through a combination of scheduled office hours, e-mail, and other effective means of responsive and timely communication. * • Provide timely feedback and support to students. * • Maintain accurate records for course g
