Actalent Quality Engineer in Spokane Valley, Washington

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

As a Quality Engineer, you'll collaborate with various departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality parts to customers. You'll work within an ISO 9001/AS9100 & NADCAP certified environment, focusing on process improvement and innovation. This role is crucial for maintaining certifications and involves developing procedures to ensure safe manufacturing and timely delivery while also emphasizing environmental protection. We seek a detail-oriented individual dedicated to continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities of the Quality Engineer include:

  • Identifying relevant statistical methods to determine quality improvement parameters for manufacturing processes.

  • Collaborating with Manufacturing Engineers to analyze reported issues and develop solutions for process improvements.

  • Preparing monthly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing quality data for senior management presentations.

  • Participating in internal audits of the Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Ensuring adherence to quality objectives and proper documentation practices.

  • Inspecting and testing products, components, and processes against predefined standards.

  • Performing other assigned duties as needed.

Hard Skills

  • Prior knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 & NADCAP

  • Prior experience as a quality engineer in a manufacturing setting

  • Internship experience will be considered

  • 1-3 years of experience

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented

  • Dedicated to continuous improvement

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Spokane Valley, Washington.

Work Environment

Office environment connected to the manufacturing floor, but this role will split time between both.
