    JOB SUMMARY

    Under the direction of the Corporate IT Manager, the IT Support Tech maintains all computer systems, network, telephony, software and other related equipment. He/she is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of IT infrastructure and resolution of any problems/issues that arise.

    ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Operations • Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and support the various systems and DMS. • Troubleshoot issues relating to hardware, software, telephony, network and mobility devices to resolution. • Manage user accounts and required access including but not limited to Active Directory, telephony, Accounting systems, network, OEM software, etc. • Maintains, directs, and records changes/installation of network equipment as required. • Maintains all inventory/documentation of IT equipment and services. • Provide training to new hires and continuing education to current employees on all applicable systems. • Communicate with all parties involved in the IT support process to ensure timely claims/ticket turnaround and resolution to any outstanding issues for all internal employees. Reporting • Obtain and analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan implementation of modifications to existing equipment to improve efficiency of IT systems. • Understand and utilize role specific reporting systems for report generation, distribution and analysis as required by the IT Director. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience • High School diploma. • Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or 2 years equivalent work experience preferred. • Industry certifications are a plus. This can include CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+, and MCSA. • Strong customer service skills. • Ability to effectively communicate with both oral and written skills to a diverse audience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft applications. • IT hardware knowledge and with the ability to repair/replace components. • Knowledge of server infrastructure and Active Directory. • Fundamental knowledge of networking. Including common WAN/LAN configurations.
