We are looking for:

  • Someone to validate and prepare scheduled work, ensuring proper permits and preparations are in place.

  • A reliable individual to handle emergency work, staff level changes, and other factors that may impact the schedule.

  • An individual who can ensure compliance with corporate and plant programs regarding safety and reporting.

  • An evaluator of mechanic, I&E, and contractor performance, taking corrective action when necessary.

  • A person who can validate emergency and urgent work requests and handle planning, job assignments, and procurement activities.

  • An individual who can troubleshoot maintenance problems and develop appropriate solutions in a multifunctional team environment.

  • A person to maintain plant equipment, including steam boiler systems, and maximize plant performance.

  • Someone who can perform maintenance work efficiently and effectively to minimize equipment downtime.

  • A skilled individual in rigging equipment and managing contract crane and rigging teams.

  • A maintainer of plant rotating equipment, including rebuilding, alignment, and preventative maintenance.

  • A participant in daily production meetings, addressing roadblocks and reviewing the remaining schedule.

  • A reviewer of completed jobs and work orders for cleanliness, completeness, and production acceptance.

  • Someone to review inspection forms, job reports, and time sheets for accuracy and follow-up needs.

  • A coordinator of feedback to improve efficiency, technical aspects, and task instructions.

  • A maintainer of cleanliness and order in work areas, tools, and rolling stock.

  • Someone to evaluate mechanic and I&E skill levels, identify improvement opportunities, and coordinate training.

  • A manager of personnel issues, contractor performance evaluations, and adherence to maintenance activities.

  • A leader who establishes authority as a supervisor, holds quarterly meetings, and provides department updates.

  • A communicator who receives and provides feedback, answers questions, and shares the vision for the maintenance department.

  • A goal setter who establishes measurable goals for technicians and sets standards and expectations for behavior and schedules.

  • A person who provides a positive and confidential environment and addresses unacceptable behavior with employees.

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $36 to $42 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
