Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Develops software for new and existing test applications on the Operations floor in LabVIEW, C#, Python, and other programming languages as needed
Uses SQL to query, update, and insert records into numerous databases housing our test and process application data
Tests, configures, deploys, and maintains software from 3rd Party vendors for certain device test applicationsDebugs and repairs electronic test equipment
Supports the launch of new products and processes, develops and documents process steps and controls, specifies and designs new equipment or tooling as needed, generates databases as needed to track key metrics
Researches, evaluates, and integrates new automation equipment and processes such as robotics, vision systems, and smart conveyors
Interprets test results, compares them to established specifications and control limits, and makes recommendations on the appropriateness of data for release
Identifies quality problems, tracks problems down to root cause, and recommends solutions
Works in coordination with facilities personnel in the installation, maintenance, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
Communicates and maintains good working relationships with engineering partners and customers
Presents information to leadership, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field required; master’s degree a plus
2+ years’ industry experience required; 5+ years’ experience preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to perform Object-Oriented Programming, LabVIEW programming, C# programming, and debugging desired
Ability to script series of commands and logic in Python for repetitive and more involved data analysis and database updates
Strong SQL skills for database creation and maintenance for application data
Understanding of electrical equipment design, design components, systems, instruments, and products
The ability to program PLCs and robotic equipment is a plus
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $80,000.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
