SC Department of Public Safety Temporary, Part-time IT Reporting Analyst in Spartanburg County, South Carolina

Job Responsibilities Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing process/procedural analysis, data analysis, design, testing, tracking, error correction, and reporting of all data included in State Reporting. This position requires time management and organizational skills in order to meet reporting deadlines. Duties include: 1. Provides analysis, support and maintenance for purposes of reporting, tracking, customer support, presentation and analysis of data for state reporting. 2. Implements new/custom reporting systems and integrated databases by process/procedural analysis, design, programming and testing. Provide Training and support during implementation. 3. Investigates new systems, tools, and processes for reporting, tracking, analysis, and presentation for state reporting. 4. Responsible for Documentation of procedures and processes; to include custom databases, programs, reports, data feeds, views and interfaces in assigned areas. 5. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and 4 yrs. experience in computer system development and modification. A combination of education and experience in a related area may be substituted for the required work experience. Preferred Qualifications * Strongly prefer in-depth knowledge and background in TSQL using SQL Server Management Studio and Reporting Services * Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and experience in multiple programming languages is desirable * Experience with Elucian/Datatel's Colleague, Self-Service, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
