Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain and calibrate automated racking systems used in the production and dry aging rooms at the Tesla Gigafactory. This role involves assisting in turning on and calibrating machines and ensuring their optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and calibrate automated racking systems.

  • Assist in turning on and calibrating machines.

  • Debug and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.

  • Perform electrical repairs and calibration.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Use test equipment to diagnose and resolve issues.

  • Collaborate with the tool install company for machine setup.

  • Document and report maintenance activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined with experience in car mechanics, robotics, or circuit boards.

  • Experience with blueprints and schematics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Pivot Charts.

  • OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required (may need to obtain upon contract start).

Work Environment

Day shift offers a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 8 PM. Night shift operates on a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts (3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off). Expect 50-60 hour workweeks with paid overtime. Mandatory adherence to safety protocols.

This is a Contract position based out of Sparks, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00
