Sun Communities Senior Vice President, Property Services in Southfield, Michigan

Senior Vice President, Property Services Main Office (MOS) OVERVIEW The Senior Vice President of Property Services is responsible for portfolio-wide functional support of our Manufactured Housing and RV operating platform and leads a corporate team focused on driving efficiency and service. SVPPS oversees underwriting, closing, consumer finance, insurance, and the administration and processing of all sales, leases, and inventory. SVPPS is responsible for driving process improvement and efficiency both internally and in the external communication flow for future residents and guests. This position is also responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance in our documents and systems The SVPPS partners closely with the broader property management team in achieving company-wide goals around health and safety, our team, resident/guest satisfaction, and our financial results. JOB DUTIES * Achieves favorable variances to P&L to grow business. * Maintains quantity and margins in relation to sales, leases and CNOI. * Oversees compliance and regulatory matters for our operational processes. * Maintains third party lending and servicing options for home sale transactions. * Completes monthly variance reporting on the business. * Analyzes and improves efficiency of processing activities. * Ensures policies and procedures stay current on government or regulatory changes, updates as needed. * Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures. * Develops and directs implementation of home sales and leasing policies and procedures. * Oversees management of the credit underwriting process and insurance sales. * Negotiates and approves pre-owned home purchases in conjunction with Chief Operating Officer. * Oversees analysis critical to measurement of how sales and leasing strategies are working. * Other duties and special projects as assigned. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field(Required) * Master's Degree (Preferred) * 3 years manufactured home and/or RV experience * Demonstrated leadership abilities * Good organizational and prioritization skills * Ability to analyze and resolve problems, at both a strategic and functional level * Strong customer service skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong budgetary skills and demonstrated knowledge of manufactured home community industry * Ability to travel extensively by car or plane with overnight stays as required: 40% BENEFITS At Sun Communities, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
