SUMMARY The Project Manager has oversight of all aspects of any project going through the manufacturing facility. This position ensures proper estimating, coordination of scope and changes with clients, maintaining the production schedule, helps with problem solving, ensures project is running on time for on time delivery. The right candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills and enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries. The Project Manager works closely with executives to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance with all applicable rules (federal, state, local, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Code of Federal Regulations, Prime Contract requirements, etc.) both for themselves, their employees, and the company as a whole. Fosters an environment in which they and their employees will reportanyviolations or reasonably suspected violation of CNI policy, FAR, and/or CFR and are comfortable discussing the myriad compliance, conflict, FAR, CFR, etc. issues that arise during the performance of a government contract. Manages key client projects, as well as smaller projects by scheduling weekly/bi-weekly meetings with customers and company project team(s). Works directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Supports project life cycle meetings to ensure all company project team members are working to a common scope of work/supply. Coordinates and ensures completion of projects on time within budget and scope. Oversee all aspects (design, approval, build, ship, installation, and commissioning) of projects while working with project coordinators to support vendor and customer relationship management. Schedules project deadlines and communicates project team responsibilities to ensure progression of each project is meeting customer expectations. Prepares project closing reports for upper management regarding ley elements of project success and failures. Collaborates with corporate operations manager in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans that considers lessons learned from completed projects. Works with estimating team in the development of financial and budgetary plans. Analyzes current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary. Builds and maintains relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
