Job Title: Design CheckerJob Description

Seeking a skilled Design Checker responsible for mechanical design checking on body in white equipment for supported suppliers. The role involves designing in UGNX from initial concept/schematic to completion, handing off to the Controls group. The candidate will focus on underbody, body sides, and framing on the tooling side, as well as General Assembly tasks.

Hard Skills

• Tooling Design experience

• Design checking experience

• UGNX experience

• Automation/Manufacturing experience

Soft Skills

• Well-versed in Automation Tooling

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Southfield, Michigan and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid work schedule - 2 days from home, 3 days in the office (Mon & Fri remote; Tues, Wed, Thurs in-office) at a design center in Southfield with 50+ designers.
