The Division of Cardiology in The Heart Institute at Stony Brook University Hospital is recruiting a full-time academic (Assistant or Associate or Full Professor levels) Consultative and/or Non-Invasive Imaging cardiologist to serve the east end of Long Island that includes Brookhaven, Center Moriches, the North Fork and Hamptons areas all the way out to Montauk. Suffolk County serves a population of 1.6 million people. The ideal applicant:
- Enjoys a balance of outpatient and inpatient clinical care responsibilities and the opportunity to participate in specialty programs, and imaging including the interpretation/performance of echocardiograms, TEEs, nuclear/stress testing, and vascular imaging.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and kind MD, DO or MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board-certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Disease. Have demonstrated excellence in clinical care (inpatient and outpatient) and teaching in cardiology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
If imaging interpretation is desired, minimal level II training in echocardiography or advanced imaging, including CT, vascular or nuclear training.
