The Role

Ensuring smooth port operations and as one of 2 Specialists in the team, you'll handle calculations for Taxes, Fees, and Port Expenses (TF&PE) through the use of Excel for our Cunard booking passengers in the US, and serve as a point of contact for MXP development and queries for port admin users. This position will require the use of Excel skills including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, COUNT, SUM and general IF formulas, enabling you to efficiently manage data and perform complex calculations.

Additional main responsibilities include liaising with Port Agents for updated tariff and port cost documents, ensuring port cost forecasting models are up to date and main budget databases in Excel maintained. Occasional port/discretionary cost comparison analysis and completion of Port Services-related ad-hoc tasks as requested.

• Request & maintain port tariff documentation for all active Carnival UK destinations, liaising with port agents to understand tariff-based cost items and to resolve queries

• Using the latest port cost information assist in the calculation and assignment of accurate TF&PEs to Cunard passenger US booking in line with the Launch and True-up processes

• Ensure supporting tariff documentation is available for each port cost passed through to the passenger in order to withstand scrutiny from internal and external bodies

• Supporting the team in other administrative tasks

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK11 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, a minimum of 3 days per week.

About You

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating expertise in utilizing pivot tables and formulas to analyze and interpret complex data sets

• Proactive and positive approach to tasks, ensuring a timely response to requests

• Quick learner with the ability to effectively tackle new tasks and queries and work effectively alongside their team

Experience with MXP system is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
