Community Connections Inc., based in South Yarmouth MA, is seeking an enthusiastic & driven Associate Development Director to join our dynamic team. The Associate Development Director will play a key role in developing & supporting the fundraising & development activities at the agency. This role offers the perfect blend of fundraising strategic planning, relationship building, & hands-on development work. The ideal candidate will possess persuasive writing skills, be team-oriented, & have a sales-oriented mindset. What You\'ll Do as an Associate Development Director: Fundraising Strategy & Implementation: Collaborate with the Chief Community Relationships Officer (CCRO) to develop & execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual & long-term goals. Identify & research potential funding sources, including foundations, corporations, & individual donors. Assist in developing a portfolio of donors & creating personalized cultivation & stewardship plans. Grant Writing & Sponsorship Management: Work with program directors & managers to identify grant needs. Research, write, & submit grant & sponsorship proposals to secure funding from foundations, businesses, & donor-advised funds. Track & report on grant progress, ensuring compliance with grant requirements & timely submission of reports. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to execute major sponsorship opportunities for events. Donor Relations & Stewardship: Cultivate & maintain relationships with current & prospective donors through regular communications, meetings, & events. Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate donor records in the donor management system (Blackbaud). Enter information into fundraising databases & train staff on correct data entry. Review data & reconcile with the finance department to ensure accurate reporting. Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities for the CCRO, CEO, & Board of Directors. What You\'ll Need as an Associate Development Director: Bachelor\'s degree preferred or equivalent years of experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in development, fundraising, or a related field. Grant writing experience preferred. Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives. Strong teamwork & collaborative ethic. Strong organizational skills & attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
