Description
Production Operators are responsible for a variety of tasks necessary for the safe and efficient production and distribution of donuts and bakery items according to Dunkin Brands and Methuen CPL standards. Shifts are in the afternoon and evening, with hours varying based on the position. Example shifts include 12:00pm - 8:00pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm, or 5:00pm - 1:00am. All employees are required to work weekends. Paid vacation and insurance benefits are available to full-time employees.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Fill, frost, and apply toppings per Dunkin’ Brands specifications
Ensure that all toppings and coatings are clean, sanitary, wholesome, and available throughout the shift
Check filling weights by variety for proper portion control
Responsible for finishing the required quantity of each variety as per information system distribution sheets in a timely manner. Record shortages and overages, and communicate discrepancies to Production Supervisor
Responsible for setting up a bakery for production, and producing product as scheduled
Place finished donuts and bakery products in baskets according to quantities listed in production sheets
Distribute baskets of the finished product to racks for delivery to member stores, verifying each basket of product with the Delivery Ticket attached to that rack
Perform other duties as requested by supervisors
Ensure all equipment is clean and sanitary
Report working on time in a clean, complete uniform. Maintain proper personal hygiene

Requirements
Must be able to weigh, measure, and count accurately
Physically able to lift 50 pounds with assistance as required
Must be able to withstand extremes of temperature (-10 degree freezer, and near a 500 degree oven or 375 degree oil fryer)
Standing/Walking - employees are on their feet for their entire shift, sitting only at break times
Ability to read production requirements and accurately produce specified quantities
Good interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
