Payroll Analyst I

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a Payroll Analyst I who will take charge of executing the day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring our athletes receive accurate and timely payments. In this role, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement a seamless, end-to-end payroll process that enhances the employee experience. You'll also be focused on driving continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate tasks, strengthen controls, and boost overall efficiency.

The candidate needs:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Payroll in a HR shared services environment managing multi-country payrolls.

  • College degree is preferred.

  • Good understanding and knowledge of in-country payroll and statutory compliance in APAC region.

  • Payroll accounting knowledge is highly desirable.

  • Hands-on experience on HR, Time and Payroll software/system, e.g. SAP, Workday, Dayforce.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

In this role, you will be performing payroll tasks, for one or more countries, which involves gathering and reconciling data from various sources (such as Workday, timesheets etc.) to ensure accurate payroll processing according to established procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement, as well as the on-time payment and filing of statutory withholdings (e.g., taxes, pension, social insurance) on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis. Additionally, you will collaborate with outsourcing partners to ensure compliance with service level agreements, monitor payroll metrics, and promptly address any issues while actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

As the primary point of contact for employees’ payroll-related inquiries (Tier 2), you will handle day-to-day issues for assigned countries and escalate complex matters as needed. You will maintain accurate payroll statistics to ensure reliable reporting, complete assigned special projects, and assist with internal and external audits, including regulatory audits specific to each country.

In this role, you will utilize Workday for sourcing data and work with vendor payroll and time/attendance systems. You will uphold integrity, taking ownership and accountability for the tasks you perform.
