Description
We're looking for anEngineering Technician (Process Assembler and Operator), working inBiotechnology/Medical Devicesindustry in269 E Grand Ave, South San Francisco, California, 94080, United States.
Maintain and stock materials as necessary to support device builds and prototype production.
Detailed inspection and verification of process quality standards including documentation and metrology including use of microscopy and metrology equipment.

Experience Required for Your Success
3 years of hands-on experience in microelectronic or medical device assembly
Attention to detail, proactive, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement
Ability to utilize basic math skills
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
Able to work in a laboratory environment (standing, sitting, stooping) for long periods
Background in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
Prior experience in medical device microassembly, optics, inspection and electronic evaluation
Experience with microscopy
Ability to track, document and assess process related quality issues
Prior experience in a clean room environment
Hands on work within a laboratory setting handling sensitive small-scale optical and electronic parts and materials
Capable of operating and troubleshooting process automation equipment
Ability to work in cleanroom, microassembly environment by maintaining a clean and safe work environment and keeps equipment fully functioning
