We're looking for anEngineering Technician (Process Assembler and Operator), working inBiotechnology/Medical Devicesindustry in269 E Grand Ave, South San Francisco, California, 94080, United States.

• Maintain and stock materials as necessary to support device builds and prototype production.

• Detailed inspection and verification of process quality standards including documentation and metrology including use of microscopy and metrology equipment.

Experience Required for Your Success

• 3 years of hands-on experience in microelectronic or medical device assembly

• Attention to detail, proactive, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvement

• Ability to utilize basic math skills

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English

• Able to work in a laboratory environment (standing, sitting, stooping) for long periods

• Background in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience

• Prior experience in medical device microassembly, optics, inspection and electronic evaluation

• Experience with microscopy

• Ability to track, document and assess process related quality issues

• Prior experience in a clean room environment

• Hands on work within a laboratory setting handling sensitive small-scale optical and electronic parts and materials

• Capable of operating and troubleshooting process automation equipment

• Ability to work in cleanroom, microassembly environment by maintaining a clean and safe work environment and keeps equipment fully functioning
