Description:

As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of a team that works to maximize equipment utilization and efficiency. The role will assist in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality.

1) Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical (gear boxes, conveyors, motors, chiller), pneumatic, hydraulic and robotic systems. Identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner.

2) Fabricate, repair parts by welding and using machine shop instrumentation and equipment (lathes, milling machines, presses, grinders, cutters).

3) Install, assembly and fabricate new machines, equipment, and parts in a manufacturing plant.

4) Perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance and service for production equipment (ovens, extruders, molding machines, gearboxes, air compressors, forklift, hydraulic presses).

5) Able to follow procedures, work instruction and engineering specifications (drawings, manuals, sketches).

6) Perform building and facility maintenance.

7) Basic electrical trouble shooting skills and able to install or replace motors, heaters, sensors and contactors.

8) Organizes and oversees schedules and work orders of maintenance staff. Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.

9) Oversee and enforce good record-keeping practices (CMMS).

10) Mentors/trains maintenance technicians.

11) Responsible for the organization of maintenance/machine shop and spare part inventory.
