Description
Boswell Engineering is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in the electric utility industry for immediate employment in our South Hackensack office.
Responsibilities:
We provide project management services for our clients in the electric utility industry. Projects range from breaker replacements to major substation rebuilds and/or transmission line upgrades
Typical substation projects maybebreaker replacement, cap bank heaters, bus work, transformer replacement, control house rehab or replacement, extending a substation yard,ora new substation
Typical transmission line projects maybereplacing insulators, replacing the OPGW, adding circuits,ora new transmission line
The Assistant Project Manager will assist with and learn the duties of the Project Manager, including: Scheduling, Financial Forecasting, Project Status Meetings, Coordination with various project stakeholders, etc.
Training will be provided for both the project management systems that are utilized and all of the mandated client safety training and FERC training
Work will primally be done under the direction of project managers in our South Hackensack office.
Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering preferred
Experience in construction management
