Description We are offering a contract for a Purchasing Coordinator role in South Gate, California. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be integral to our operations, playing a key role in procurement management, inventory coordination, order processing, vendor relations, cost control, and cross-department collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, promptly addressing any issues to foster long-term partnerships.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock while minimizing overstock and stockouts.
• Create purchase orders, track shipments, and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities, while maintaining product standards.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Work in close collaboration with production, warehouse, and sales teams to align purchasing strategies with company goals. Requirements • Job title: Purchasing Coordinator

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions
• Ability to work with Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Budget Processes
• Experience in Buying Processes
• Proven track record of Purchasing Activities
• Ability to perform Purchasing Functions
• Experience in Purchasing Materials
