Pilot Precision Products Shipping and Receiving Clerk in South Deerfield, Massachusetts
SOUTH DEERFIELD - Shipping & Receiving Clerk Position Summary Our precision broach manufacturing company is in search of a reliable and motivated Shipper/Receiver. This individual will prepare and accept the delivery of goods for incoming and outgoing shipments. The main focus is verifying product quantities and appropriate labeling and packaging of product to ship to customers or outside processing. Our Warehouse staff are an important part of receiving and distributing our products. This individual will play a key role in that success. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Ensuring tools are packaged correctly and shipped accurately to customers and drop ship locations. Taking pride in accuracy by maintaining accurate inventory level of stock tools for future sales Utilizing Epicor/ERP software to receive production work orders Labeling and packaging tools Creating shipping documents and entering shipment information for outbound shipments Process UPS Shipments using WorldShip Loading and unloading deliveries Process Returned Goods Receiving raw material and finished goods inventory into the system Cycle counting inventory Verifying freight and warehouse invoices, reporting and researching Epicor issues, verifying receipts and entering metrics Managing the housekeeping duties of the shipping and receiving area. Assisting the Warehouse Manager with various tasks, projects, and other duties as assigned Safely operate a forklift Experience you can provide: High school diploma or equivalent degree Proficient math skills Shipping and receiving experience, 1 year (a plus) Warehouse, 1 year (a plus) Ability to drive a forklift is a plus or we will help you get certified Quality assurance: 1 year (a plus) Epicor/ERP Software experience (a bonus) Microsoft Office: 1 year Other qualifications: Ability to lift 20 lbs repetitively, up to 50 lbs Dedicated to safety Strong computer skills High attention to detail Pride in being on time, self-sufficient, and able to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team Ability to multi-task, problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance Personal accountability and integrity, as a shipping/receiving clerk is tasked with an accurate accounting of all inventory What Pilot Precision Products has to offer you: Competitive salary 75% company-paid Health Insurance 401K - Save for retirement with a traditional 401K account or Roth 401K - you are eligible after 90 days employment and Pilot makes a yearly Safe Harbor Contribution whether you contribute or not Company-paid Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Account, with the option of rolling a portion of unused funds over to the following year 10 Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Dental Reimbursement for you, your spouse, and children through 18 years of age
