Pay: $33.00/Hour
Your Role:
As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for participating in an electrical capacity to assist the project team in the completion of capital and non-capital projects. Responsible for parts procurement, machine shop work orders, information gathering, and equipment modification. Our priority is to provide safe and efficient service to every customer with the goal of resolving the problem the first time.
You will have the opportunity to:
Make safety your number one priority by driving our safety initiatives
Perform all electrical functions associated with the planning and completion of capital and non-capital projects needed by process specialists, master electricians, engineering, and other location stakeholders.
Understand plant electrical systems including but not limited to substations, breaker panels, power distribution.
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to service and repair new, modified, and existing equipment.
Train and assist production as needed for set-ups, adjustments, and basic repairs on equipment
Ultimately, you will be an incredibly important resource and will provide support for production and projects for safety improvements, overall equipment effectiveness improvements, and cost savings initiatives. We need you to have:
A diploma in a related industrial electronics field or equivalent
Advanced skills in maintenance techniques for electrical and mechanical systems, such as instrumentation, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, power transmission devices, bearings and seals, motors electrical power and controls circuits, electronic components and systems, such as DC and variable AC drive controllers, programmable controllers, and other solid state equipment.
Ability to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
The skills and knowledge to safely use shop equipment, powered and non-powered hand tools, and electrical and electronic test instruments
Icing on the cake:
Previous experience in maintenance
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility
