PAY RATE

$16.75 per hour

DESCRIPTION

Salary - $16.75 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY:Provides excellent customer service at Organic Resources in a professional manner. Serves as a representative for the Division of Environmental Services, by answering phone calls, serving walk-in customers, and a variety of clerical and cashier duties as assigned by Supervisor.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:Not applicable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist customers daily with register transactions, phone calls, and general facility inquiries.
  • Perform office operations for Land Application (check trucks in, assign tags and paperwork).
  • Run daily register reports and assist in preparing deposits under the direction of Administrative Assistant.
  • Keep office supplies organized.
  • Mange daily functions of the scale for incoming and outgoing product including trucks without tags.
  • Operate 2-way radio for facility communication.
  • Tour the facility at the end of the day to verify no customers are still present prior to closing the gate.
  • Setting the building alarm system prior to exiting the property.

NON-ESSENTIAL/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as apparent or as delegated.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • High school diploma or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY:

  • Ability to manage time without close supervision
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to make sound judgment independently
  • Must interact with co-workers and the public with tact and diplomacy
