Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with experience in installation and servicing. This role involves working on both new and existing commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, installing rooftop units, VAV boxes, and ductwork, as well as cutting and bending sheet metal.

Responsibilities

• Install and service HVAC systems in commercial and residential settings

• Read and interpret blueprints and prints

• Install rooftop units, VAV boxes, and ductwork

• Cut and bend sheet metal

• Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs

• Work with various HVAC brands including Carrier, Aprilaire, Mitsubishi, York, Trane, Rheem, Armstrong, Bryant, and LG

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a residential installer

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a swap out installer

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial installer

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Technician

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Proficiency in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance

• Experience with sheet metal and ductwork

• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting

• EPA Universal certification

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work independently

• Experience with power and hand tools

• Field service experience

• Mechanical and assembly skills

Work Environment

You will work in new construction, fit-outs, and retro-fits for projects including retail spaces, churches, schools, strip malls, offices, and medical office buildings. The role involves using professional-grade equipment and parts to deliver high standards of service.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $35.00/hr.
