Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform both corrective and preventive maintenance on assembly lines across multiple buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience with packaging and filler maintenance. Responsibilities include conducting safe and efficient maintenance operations on high-speed packaging equipment such as fillers, cappers, labelers, blenders, pumps, and mixers. You will also be tasked with scheduled maintenance repairs, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and assisting in improving maintenance procedures. This role requires active participation in production support, proper documentation of maintenance activities, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in SOMERVILLE, Tennessee.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in SOMERVILLE, Tennessee. The work environment is a clean, temperature-controlled liquid fill contract packaging facility with spacious lines. The facility operates high-speed packaging equipment and requires safety measures such as glasses and hair nets. The busiest months are July and August, with a production target of 7 million units a month. There is a $2 shift differential for night shift, which runs Monday - Thursday (with overtime on Friday nights). The facility has new and old equipment dating back to the 1940s and can process 100-300 bottles per minute.
