Riverside Community Care Pediatric Physical Therapist in Somerville, Massachusetts

Great opportunity for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our dynamic, professional, multidisciplinary team in a supportive family-focused environment!

The Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) participates on a multidisciplinary team within the Early Intervention (EI) program providing home-based services to children (0-3 years) and their families.

The PT is responsible for coordinating gross motor, handling, positioning, and adaptive equipment aspects of the child's treatment plan.

The PT also:

  • conducts developmental assessments

  • fulfills coordination duties

  • leads and supports group activities

  • maintains an individual caseload

Required Skills

  • Experience in early intervention, special needs populations, or early childhood preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Knowledge of basic computer systems

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation or ability to access public transportation

  • Ability to push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds

  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, sit, reach, crawl, and maneuver with infants and toddlers exercising constant changes of position and movement

Required Experience

  • University Degree in Physical Therapy

  • Eligible for or Current Massachusetts Licensure as a Physical Therapist
