responsibilities:

Breakdown: The position's primary duties and responsibilities, along with their expected time allocation over an extended period, are outlined below:

• 30%: Develop and maintain project timelines and resources in alignment with corporate plans, ensuring billable projects stay on schedule and within budget. Mitigate risks and facilitate change order procedures as needed, while monitoring project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members.

• 30%: Establish effective communication channels with other departments to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Interface with customers and internal project resources to address project issues and maintain customer satisfaction through consistent communication.

• 25%: Compile monthly invoicing reports and project status reports for each assigned project, distributing them to customers, managers, and central files. Maintain communication with the sales team regarding project implementation status and customer satisfaction, ensuring a smooth hand-off post-implementation.

• 15%: Interface with Professional Services Managers on project issues, including timelines, resource allocations, and problem resolution.

Additionally, the Project Manager's responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing communication programs to ensure clarity of expectations and deadlines throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identifying system and human resource requirements by collaborating with various departments and managers.

• Managing day-to-day project communication with clients and team members, fostering positive relationships and managing expectations.

• Tracking project performance to analyze goal completion and meeting budgetary objectives.

• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans focusing on milestones.

• Providing project documentation and initiating change order procedures as needed.

• Maintaining communication channels between internal and customer project teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, MIS, Computer Science, or related field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in customer-facing project management roles, with 3 to 5 years of IT project management experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and comprehensive project management skills, including planning, risk management, issue management, and post-project assessment.

• strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

• Desirable skills include experience with client-server applications, Oracle and SQL Server Administration, database design, domain knowledge of laboratory practices, and programming environments.

• PMI and/or CSM certification is desirable, along with prior experience in Confluence/JIRA and familiarity with LIMS software or similar domains.
