We are seeking innovative and entrepreneurial minded students to join our2025 Summer Internship Programas anIT Internin Somerset, New Jersey. And we make snacks and candy. Need we say more?

This program will provide invaluable work experience and an opportunity to develop professionally by working on meaningful projects that directly impact the company and our brands. We provide challenging opportunities to gain experience, while recognizing and rewarding achievements. In addition, you will have a direct manager, a team of colleagues to collaborate with, plus you’ll be able to connect with our community of Interns.

Overview

• Provide support to onsite and remote Park Ridge users relating to both hardware and software problems on their workstations and smartphones

• Configure, deploy and support various endpoint devices, such as PCs, laptops, printers, barcode scanners and cell phones throughout the Somerset locations

• Report food safety and quality issues to Plant management and SQF (Safe Quality Foods)

• Follow PIM Brands GMP rules

• Assist in performing necessary upgrades and configurations as necessary to support business growth as it relates to our Windows desktops and user endpoint devices

• Facilitate the resolution of technical problems reported by our internal and external customers through research and analysis, and further escalation when required

• Thoroughly document issues, as well as the analysis and design required for resolution

• Expresses enthusiasm, offering a partnership approach in a positive, can-do manner

• Respond to and coordinate resolution efforts to tickets that have been generated by the users in our Somerset locations

• We have a large enough user base to provide lots of relevant exposure to real-world technical issues. At the same time, we’re not so large that our tech positions are narrowly defined, so you’ll have a great opportunity to discuss and help with technical tasks across the IT domain.

• We have a very forward-looking roadmap that will allow you to touch some of the most important areas in a modern IT department – whether it’s cybersecurity, cloud architecture, or even AI, we have projects in all areas that could use extra hands.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior/Senior in college/university, pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, cybersecurity, cloud architecture or related field

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better

• Strong business acumen and analytical ability

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills; and, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.

• Self-motivated and bias for action

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Required Skills/Experience:

• Have access to housing and reliable transportation

• Able to work a 40-hour week, beginning June 3rd, 2025

• Must be able to work in the office Monday thru Thursday; Friday is Work from Home

It would be sweet if you also had:

• Knowledge of and passion for the specific business you are interested in at PIM Brands

• Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry

• Leadership experience on or off campus
