The Housekeeping Level 2 is able to work independently with limited assistance from others and apply processes and procedures appropriately. This associate can add value to cross functional teams or discussions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • ​​Uses and follows company general housekeeping and safety practices and policies

  • ​Understands when custodial services need to be completed and takes appropriate actions

  • ​Knows the purpose of security and alarm systems

  • ​Recognizes building support problems and escalate

  • ​Independently performs general cleaning for their areas of responsibility

  • ​Independently executes on room set-ups as directed for:

  • ​Meetings

  • ​Luncheons

  • ​Special events

  • ​General site support to include but not limited to :

  • ​Restocking (supplies)

  • ​Cafeteria support

  • ​Understands and supports recycle program

  • ​May be required to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (PIE).

  • ​independently support and interact with vendors and associates

  • ​Able to operate housekeeping equipment to include but not limited to:

  • ​Baler

  • ​Densifier

  • ​Compactor

  • ​Floor Scrubber

  • ​Has an understanding of the lean toolbox (i.e. 5S, CEDAC, Standard Work, etc.)​

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:

  • No Education Needed

  • 1 year of work experience

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

  • ​​​Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

  • ​Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.​

  • ​Lift, push, pull, or carry weight no more than 35lbs.

  • ​Must be capable of being on feet for up to 8-12 hours a day.

  • ​Capability to squat, bend, and reach​
