Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in healthcare? As a Market Access Manager at AbbVie, you will be the driving force behind incorporating health economic perspectives both internally and externally. Working closely with Brand Teams and In-Field Teams, you will ensure that health economic arguments are integral to our sales, marketing, and policy strategies. You spend part of your working time with customers, to convey the importance of including a wider perspectives in the assessment of what treatment should be given to patients. You are also a key contributor in paving the way for our pipeline products and for facilitating both internal and external readiness for launches of new treatment options.

Key tasks:

  • Project Development: Lead and collaborate on projects that highlight disease awareness within prioritized therapeutic areas for our pipeline products.

  • Collaboration: Partner with regional Market Access Managers, Market Access, External Affairs, Governmental Affairs, HEOR&HTA on “shape the system” initiatives.

  • Launch Readiness: Work with the HEOR and Medical teams to prepare for the launch of new products.

  • Brand Strategy: Engage with Early Asset & Brand Teams for pipeline products.

  • Presentation Preparation: Craft impactful presentations and materials based on health economic analyses.

  • Business Cases: Prepare business cases for internal pricing approvals for pipeline products in collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree and 5-10 years of experience from pharma industry or healthcare.

  • Advanced understanding of Market Access and Health Economics.

  • Extensive experience from Market Access, Health Economics, Sales, Marketing and/or Policymaking.

  • Knowledge of our prioritized therapeutical areas is an advantage.

  • Excellent Swedish and English language skills, both verbally and in writing.

This position requires extensive travel, mostly within the territory/Sweden. You can be either office- or field based.
