Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

· Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for multiple clients

· Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll taxes, benefits, and garnishments

· Manage and maintain payroll records and reports

· Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

· Stay up-to-date with changing payroll regulations and laws

· Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements

· 2+ years of payroll experience

· Strong knowledge of payroll principles, laws, and regulations

· Experience with payroll software and systems

· Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

· Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification

· Experience with multi-state payroll processing

· Knowledge of HRIS systems and integration with payroll
