(Senior) Verification Engineer

Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a pro-active and results-oriented Senior Verification Engineer to join our HPC Analog Division at Renesas in Bulgaria (Sofia or Varna). We operate flexibly with 1-2 days a week in office and rest remote.

Reporting into the Senior Manager in the Verification Engineering team, you will be part of a close team with lots of great interesting projects to work on, opportunity to develop and use state of the art tools like Cadence!

Main responsibilities:

• Verification of digital/mixed-signal systems;

• Extract objectives/requirements from specifications and review with system architect.

• Create verification plans, environments on block and system levels.

• Development of test-benches and verification components.

• Development of behavioural models for analog components and modules.

• Regression and coverage analysis.

• Work in collaboration with other teams and engineers.

Experience required:

• Relevant educational background, Bachelors degree (engineering or related field);

• 5+ years of digital verification experience

• Knowledge of HDL languages – System Verilog is a must;

• Good understanding and hands-on experience of the constrained random verification;

• Practical skills with UVM, SVA, OVL or similar methodologies;

• Strong motivation for technical challenges;

• Team player, excellent communication skills;

• Fluent in English, ideally also in Bulgarian would be an advantage.

• Knowledge of Cadence design/verification tools is an advantage.
