Your Job
This position is for Principal Engineer Testsite Engineering which is also known as TestSite Program Manager (TSPM). TSPM drives technology development vehicles like Testsite (TS) and Multi-Part Wafer (MPW) from the beginning of the program sizing until mask arrival to the fab. TSPM is expected to collaborate with many teams within GLOBALFOUNDRIES (e.g. Program Management, PDK, Reliability, Device, Modeling, IP, etc.) to ensure on-time design delivery with high quality. TSPM drives TestSite scope definition, schedule and work closely with Testsite Coordinator who executes design delivery through DMACS (Design Management and Characterization Services) system.
Responsibilities
Drive TestSite/MPW internal team to ensure on-time design delivery first time right.
Interfacing with Technology PM, design, and process teams (content owners) to define the TS/MPW scope, schedule and PDK need.
Report TS/MPW status in core team and DTE Ops meeting to SVP and his direct report.
Collaborate with PDK PM, Frame team, Tape-Out teams and OPC teams to ensure on-track delivery of all new TestSite components (Frame content, OPC, PDK etc.)
Advise on content definition to achieve the scope and purpose of the testsite
Maintain TS/MPW scope and schedule documentation.
Drive Lesson Learned after every Testsite
Drive TS/MPW internal content transformation project to improve efficiency.
Support Technology Program managers during program planning before PMA sizing to ensure correct TS/MPW scope.
Required Qualifications:
BS + 4-5 years of experience or MS + 2-4 years or PhD +1-2 in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Physics, or other closely related engineering or physical science discipline.
Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication concept
Good understanding of Product Design Kit (PDK) concepts
Demonstrated experience with or knowledge of project management, and structured problem solving.
Language Fluency: English (written & verbal).
Good presentation, communication skills and can interact with all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to drive projects with minimum supervision, and communicate complicated messages concisely both written and verbally
Prior experience in project management & technical experience within the Design Enablement or Tapeout community
