We are searching for qualified and motivated candidates for the role of Infrastructure DevOps Engineer , based in Sofia .
The opportunity
As an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer you will contribute to planning, defining, and building the public cloud infrastructure landing zones, based on modern cloud IaaS and PaaS services and following best in class industry and Teva internal standards and processes. You will be part of Cloud Platform Engineering and Operations team, reporting directly to Teva Cloud Operations manager. Through this role, you will be able to impact Teva Cloud journey in support of company strategy. This is strategic role with high impact on the Teva IT services, you will be working close with traditional IT delivery and Business stakeholders.
How you’ll spend your day
• Design and build solutions and infrastructure that support our Multi-Cloud initiative
• Develop and Maintain IaC code base of projects
• Work in close collaboration with Security Experts to improve our Cloud Security posture
• Work in close cooperation with various departments to design and build architecture that support their initiatives
• Support the business, in case of issues, with cloud-based infrastructure and services
• Leverage automation and Infrastructure as Code tools to maintain the environment and execute changes
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical service outages
• Response to security vulnerabilities identified by the Cloud Security team, and monitoring alerts, by taking actions to remediate and/or mitigate security risks
• Develop and implement improvements on existing code base to much recent security and quality standards
• Understand and contribute to processes and tools improvement used by the team
Your experience and qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is preferred
• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry, delivering core datacenter services or Private/Public cloud IaaS/PaaS services management (or a combination of both)
• Proven knowledge and experience in implementing, managing and maintenance of cloud infrastructure solutions
• Excellent knowledge of different datacenter infrastructure layers: HW, Virtualization, Networks, Storage, Backup, OS platform and common application architectures
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and containerization
• Working experience in at least one of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, VB Script, Bash, Python, Perl, etc.
• Working experience with IaC, CI/CD and infrastructure management technologies like Terraform, ARM templates, CF, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Puppet, etc. is considered as advantage
• Proven service management skills
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Teamwork attitude
• Self-learning attitude, staying up to date with the latest developments in the industry
• Fluency in English, written and verbal
Certifications:
• Certified Azure Administrator or Azure Cloud Architect Certification are considered an advantage
• Nice to have: Windows Server Administration, RedHat Administration, DevOps certification, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Networking, Security, or other relevant
