This position is part of the General Ledger team in Finance department.

What You'll do:

• Recording transactions of expenses, revenues (including back margins adjustments) and accruals (including bad debts) in JDE according to Group rules (IFRS) and local GAAP of relevant entity

• Loading of monthly group reporting in HFM

• Participation to all group financial process and respect of group reporting and consolidation deadlines (reporting, budget, consolidation)

• Responsibility for the monitoring, analysis and the justification of all accounts for the responsible entities as well as clearing of suspense accounts.

• Accountable for the effective delivery of General Accounting processes, data accuracy in line with established SLAs for the Finance function.

• Deliver to agreed SLA’s regarding time and accuracy, including respect closing deadlines and quality level

• Contribute to the production of timely, accurate financial statements and reports; ensure accurate cutoffs, timely account reconciliation

• Assist with monthly and yearly tax declaration filing if any

• Tax audit preparation if any

• Assist local Finance teams

• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures

• Assist with training and mentoring G/L accountants

• Act as a key user in the assigned projects, distribute the workflow to the G/L Accountants, monitor the progress of the project within the team, ensure full quality of the provided data to the project owner

What You'll bring to BIC:

• Accounting Degree

• Minimum 3 years in a similar function (General Ledger Accounting)

• Strong accounting knowledge

• Comfortable with IT environment (Excel expertise a must)

• Knowledge of JDE (Accounting and Reporting) would be appreciated

• English language imperative (additional European language is a plus or may be required)

• Sense of priorities

• Hands-on
