Tastad Construction, Inc. Heavy Equipment Operator in Snohomish, Washington
We are currently hiring a heavy equipment operator with underground utility experience. Must have experience operating excavators, dozers, backhoe's, etc. Our company is based out of Snohomish County, but our job sites are all over the greater Seattle area. Candidate must be able to show up at the job site on time and must have a valid driver's license. Job Purpose: Completes assignment by operating and maintaining equipment.
Duties: * Prepares heavy equipment by conducting operator inspections; performing preventive maintenance checks. * Prepares work by studying and clarifying instructions and diagrams; calculating requirements; gathering supplies. * Accomplishes work by operating equipment; observing varying conditions; adjusting equipment controls. * Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. * Keeps heavy equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; calling for repairs. * Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities. * Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Skills/Qualifications: Manufacturing Quality, Controls and Instrumentation, Equipment Maintenance, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Decision Making, Safety Management, Problem Solving.
