We are looking for a Development & Engagement Specialist. The Development and Engagement Specialist is responsible of identifying developmental needs at all levels of the organization, and based on analysis, design training strategies. This role will also be responsible of building a positive relationship with team members.

The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You’ll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager. We pride ourselves on moving through processes quickly, and you can be sure of transparency and prompt communication throughout.


  • Develops training strategies and plans aligned with business needs.

  • Participates in root cause analysis to identify developmental needs and recommend training or re-training on an individual basis.

  • Monitors engagement through KPI’s, surveys or any other form of feedback from team members, and develops programs to improve attendance, retention and productivity.

  • Develops and assists in training employees on distribution processes and equipment.

  • Assists the Operations Manager in problem resolution relating to production, standard operating procedures, safety and quality.

  • Monitors new hires and serve as a mentor during the first 4 weeks of employment.

  • Evaluates hourly associates and provides feedback regarding job performance and expectations in a timely manner.

  • Able to create and maintain community relationships.

  • Ability to lead and foster a team environment, utilizing excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability and willingness to work alternative shifts as required.

  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Required Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business disciplines or equivalent work experience

Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of HR employee engagement experience

  • HR background highly preferred.

  • Prior multi-shift distribution center experience

  • Technical skills in logistics processes and methods to include flow, cost efficiencies, engineered standards, equipment, safety and quality.
