Cycle Counter- Nights

Monday - Thursday 5:30 PM to 4 AM

$15.25 + $1.00 night shift differential

$2,000 Retention Bonus!

COVID pandemic measures:

There are several sanitation stations around the location and provide masks and gloves.

We do sanitation and disinfection of equipment as well as common areas several times a day.

Purpose

  • Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying product and quantities in warehouse locations.

  • Responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory discrepancies to Operations Management.

Scope

  • Responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory discrepancies to Operations Management.

Essential Functions

  • Must comply with all EH&S regulations for the protection of the environment and maintain safe working conditions.

  • Policies, procedures, and work instructions must be adhered to for quality assurance and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and analyze reports regarding inventory balances; overages and shortages.

  • Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.

  • Compiles, verifies, and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations as related to inventory.

  • Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages and inventory discrepancies.

  • Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations

Required Skills

Duties

  • Manage the inventory workflow by conducting cycle counts.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Researches misplaced or unaccounted for product.

  • May assist with training other employees as directed by Shift Lead or Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

  • Ability and willingness to work alternative shifts as required.

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Knowledge of SAP/WMS and understand workflow processes and procedures.

  • Ability to handle the pressure of deadlines, coupled with frequent interruptions.

Required Experience

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may be exposed to heights up to 30 feet. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.

Training

  • Basic computer aptitude

  • Prior warehouse or distribution experience relating to inventory preferred
