Raleigh Woodworks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cabinet and Trim Carpentry Installer to lead our talented team of craftsmen. As a leading provider of custom carpentry in Raleigh, we specialize in delivering high-quality custom cabinet installations, custom trim carpentry, and interior door solutions. We are looking for an individual who is not only passionate about their craft but also capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members to deliver exceptional workmanship.

Position: Skilled Carpenter - Cabinet and Trim Carpentry Installer

Location: Raleigh NC area (our shop is in Smithfield)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee custom cabinet installations, ensuring precision, adherence to design specifications, and quality control.

  • Mentor and train junior carpentry team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.

  • Execute precise measurements and cuts for trim carpentry installation, including baseboards, crown molding, window casings, and other custom details.

  • Oversee interior door installations, ensuring proper alignment, functionality, and finishing.

  • Collaborate closely with designers, architects, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within specified deadlines.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinet installation and trim carpentry.

  • Proven expertise in custom cabinet installation techniques, including knowledge of different joinery methods and hardware installation.

  • Strong proficiency in custom trim carpentry, including experience with baseboards, crown molding, window casings, and other decorative elements.

  • Extensive familiarity with interior door installation and in-depth understanding of door hardware and adjustments.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.

  • Proficient in using a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest-quality craftsmanship.

  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
