Job Overview

As the Senior Brand Manager Outdoor , you will be responsible for developing and executing an omni-channel strategy to accelerate the growth of the DEWALT and Cub Cadet brands and products across EMEA ANZ. This position leads the planning and execution of marketing and end-user communications supporting DEWALT and Cub Cadet products including brand integration, region communications strategy, product launch planning, creative adaptation and execution, and campaign management.

In this role, you will ensure full integration of marketing plans to maximize the effectiveness of brand positioning, content, and creative execution across product categories and adapt to regional nuances when necessary. You will be leading the EMEA ANZ marketing efforts and will be working closely with the channel marketing team to ensure integration across local and retail media campaigns and retail channel executions. Outdoor Pro Landscaping and Forestry Products are a huge growth opportunity for DEWALT; the successful candidate will lead the charge in building DEWALT’s right to win and help to scale the marketing efforts.

The Senior Brand Manager Outdoor may assume responsibility for other projects as assigned by the Director of Global Brand Strategy for Outdoor. This position also coordinates agency efficiency initiatives including resource management and relationship management.

What You’ll Do

  • Build the DEWALT Outdoor brand strategy, the right to win Outdoor dealer channel and expansion program.

  • Be the voice of authority for growth within the Outdoor Dealer Channel.

  • Establish DEWALT Trade Marketing and promotional plan for Outdoor products.

  • Build integrated marketing strategies to support product launches, ensuring plans are integrated across product, sales, e-commerce, and post-sales support teams.

  • Translate Outdoor brand strategy, positioning, voice, and brand standards for all products, together with the agency and in-house team.

  • Develop holistic campaigns to secure consumer engagement and willingness to pay from a wide spectrum of end users including homeowners and professionals.

  • Ensure content across owned and partner properties, online and offline, meets best-in-class content standards and is aligned with brand guidelines.

  • Oversee integration of channel strategies and promotional support within brand campaigns.

  • Support the sales team with materials and programs to support retailer sell-in and direct sales to end consumers.

  • Facilitate project management by leading and directing marketing partners (i.e. ad agencies, marketing vendors, suppliers).

  • Ensure integration with other organizational initiatives and business goals through collaborative development, alignment in execution, and proactive communication with marketing team members and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop deep consumer understanding, including engagement with research projects and report-outs; leverage privileged consumer insights to maximize engagement, conversion, and loyalty.

  • Coordinate research projects, product photography, video content, and website content with internal resources on behalf of the brands, ensuring regional requirements are met when required.

  • Manage the EMEA Outdoor budget and build business cases to secure investment to support strategies.

  • Plan & Create

  • Creating, developing, and guiding the DEWALT and Cub Cadet marketing development

  • Planning digital sales & marketing activities and supervising the creation and maintenance of brand websites

  • Conduit for region-specific marketing communication

  • Planning EMEA-ANZ marketing budget management with spend controlling and performing budget planning

  • Segmentation alignment and brand health tracking

  • Driving and ensuring the seamless maintenance of marketing PIM and support across division data sharing and master data refinement

  • Develop & Deliver

  • Partnering with all related functions, in-depth with Sales and Product Marketing, and alignment with the Commercial / Channel Marketing teams

  • Developing new digital communication solutions, tools and refining existing ones in usability, effectiveness, and information architecture

  • Planning and creating online questionnaires & surveys and contributing to brand newsletters

  • Create An Execution-Oriented And Winning Culture In The Team

  • Ability to take a high-level vision and convert it into detailed and timebound execution plans. Sets expectations with the team to develop high-ROI actions to drive performance and growth.

  • Developing an in-depth understanding of competitor tactics in the key customer markets. Can leverage competitive knowledge for strategic decision-making.

  • Being self-motivated to drive excellence. Executing flawlessly on value drivers and key priorities of the business.

You’re The Right Fit If You Have:

  • A University degree (BA or MBA) in Marketing/Communications

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Brand Marketing

  • Experience in the Outdoor Dealer Channel with preferable experience in Outdoor equipment

  • Are currently based in the UK, France, or Germany, and have previous experience working in one of these locations

  • Fluency in written and verbal English language communication

  • Strong business acumen and growth mindset

  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to work seamlessly with leaders at multiple levels

  • Strong capability to link the marketing approach to the overall business strategy

  • Managerial courage and communication skills to effectively and constructively challenge, influence, and guide senior leaders and experts in the organization

  • Skilled at working and leading in a multi-cultural, multi-matrix environment
