Robert Half Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director in Slc, Utah

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the hospitality industry for a Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to join our team in SLC, Utah. This role is pivotal in overseeing a corporate payroll department, managing payroll related responsibilities for a substantial number of employees, and maintaining compliance with the UKG (HR/Payroll System).

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing a corporate payroll department and ensuring efficient operations.

• Managing payroll responsibilities for a large number of employees across multiple states.

• Ensuring compliance with the UKG (HR/Payroll System) and staying updated on any changes or updates.

• Collaborating with the VP, Controller for reporting and strategizing.

• Leveraging experience in the hospitality and/or ski industry to understand and fulfill industry-specific payroll demands.

• Utilizing skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and Crystal Reports to streamline processes.

• Overseeing 401k - RRSP Administration and ensuring adherence to regulations.

• Using the 'About Time' system for efficient time management within the department.

• Undertaking Accounting Functions and Auditing as per industry standards.

• Managing Benefit Functions and ensuring employee satisfaction. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in payroll management or supervision.

• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Have a good understanding and practical experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.

• Familiarity with Ceridian HR software is required.

• Have the ability to generate and interpret Crystal Reports.

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration.

• Knowledge of About Time software is a plus.

• Proficient in various Accounting Functions.

• Possess experience in Auditing.

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions in the HR spectrum.

• Must have strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
