Heritage Fence Company is looking for a Construction Foreman *to join our growing team! This role is a great opportunity for a safety conscious individual with experience in the *construction industry. We service the Residential, Commercial, and Industrial markets in eastern PA, MD, DE, VA, NJ, NY with a focus on all types of Fencing (Wood, PVC, Aluminum, Chain Link, Steel, Temporary, etc) Railings, Wooden & Steel Guide Rails, Dumpster Enclosures, Anti-Climb, Temporary Pedestrian Barriers, Jersey Barriers (PVC & Concrete), Gate Operators, Access Control and much more!
Responsibilities:
- Excellent communication and coordination with the Project Manager, Subcontractors, and suppliers for day- to-day activities. This should include emails, phone calls or onsite meetings
- Have a thorough understanding of your project or projects. This should include the contract drawings and specifications.
- A full understanding of project sequence and scope of work
- Plan, Implement and Manage tasks in accordance with priorities and goals
- Manage & Monitor team members' work
- Adhere to relevant safety regulations and requirements
- Manage & Guide the use of equipment and machinery
- Direct training, coaching and development of team
- Keep budgeted production hours in check
- Peacefully resolve any problems or issues that may arise
- Allocate & Delegate responsibilities
- Supervise, Train & Give Feedback to team members
- Oversee proper prepping/loading of trucks with materials and tools for daily jobs
- Check trucks to make sure all tools/trailers are properly secured
- Dig post holes, either by hand if necessary or with different machines
- Safely Operate small hand tools and/or large machines such as an Auger/Beaver
- Safely Operate heavy equipment such as a Forklift or Skidsteer
- Maintain weekly maintenance logs for company vehicle
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
- Ability to lift 80lbs
- Ability to LEAD a team or teams
- Reliable transportation to/from the office
- Ability to perform layout and setup of the Scope of Work
- US Citizenship or Working Visa
- Familiarity with blueprints
- Valid Driver's License (in order to drive Company vehicle)
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to pass new hire and random drug test
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Good math skills
- Any additional relevant certifications will be considered an advantage
