Senior Demand Planner

This position reports to the Demand Planning Manager, and is based at Skillman, NJ.

Role reports to: Demand Planning Manager

Location: Skillman, NJ (Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)

Pay: $73,000.00 - $117,300.00

What You Will Do

The Demand Planning is responsible for developing and maintaining demand planning models to ensure accurate forecasting of product demand, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in demand, and monitoring inventory levels and working with supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain demand planning models to ensure accurate forecasting of product demand

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in demand

Monitor inventory levels and work with supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained

Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on demand planning and inventory management strategies

Continuously improve demand planning processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy

Evaluate demands from internal customers and prepare comprehensive demand plan for specific business unit(s) / product line(s)

Maintain appropriate target reorder points to meet business fill rate targets while minimizing inventory investment

Participate in development of long term strategic

Facilitate interim forecast discussions and updates with supply chain partners and internal cross-functional business partners (marketing, sales, finance) to clarify demand requirements and drive improvements in forecast accuracy

Conduct monthly demand business reviews

Implement and manage forecasting software and supporting systems

Manage data integrity processes and follow current compliance regulations and standards

Develop and review performance metrics in areas of quality, cost, and delivery in support of the key supplier scorecards and business reviews

Coordinate the analysis of monthly demand to ensure accuracy and identify trends

Resolve gaps between financial forecast and statistical forecast

Recommend when work should be outsourced if demand is projected to exceed capacity

Produce and review monthly reports within specified time frames

Research, recommend and implement multiple statistical models to develop and drive consensus forecasts for assigned business segments

Analyze internal capacity and develop plan to align supply and demand to meet customer requirements

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

4-6 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with demand planning software

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Desired Qualifications

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams

Proficient in forecasting software and supporting systems

Knowledge of data integrity processes and current compliance regulations and standards
