Enterprise Data is embarking on a critical, multi-year strategic initiative to enhance Muni pricing models and expand our current product offering, to drive the adoption of BVAL throughout the municipal market.

What's the role?

The Muni BVAL pricing team is looking for a product manager to assist in executing on our pricing consistency strategy and driving adoption of the Muni BVAL products across the market. Pricing consistency deals with transparency, reproducibility and replicability of pricing and curves to clients. Primary responsibilities will include working directly with Muni BVAL application engineers, AI quantitative engineers, sales, marketing and Muni BVAL pricing evaluators to enhance municipal pricing models and methodologies.

The ideal candidate will utilize market, system and product management expertise to further develop the Muni BVAL product and support quality pricing delivery to downstream applications.

We'll trust you to:

• Represent the business strategy and requirements for the Bloomberg Enterprise Products Platforms, working with senior leadership and other vertical stakeholders

• Manage and create project plans, working closely with the PDM group, to provide clear deliverables, plans and milestones. Track projects, articulate roadblocks, delays, and successes

• Understand and identify opportunities for business expansion, through client interactions and close review of thematic changes in the marketplace

• Generate business requirements specifications that will be used by application engineers and AI quantitative engineers

• Work seamlessly across Bloomberg as necessary, and project manage product builds to delivery and adoption. Develop strong relationships based on reliability and positive attitude

• Lead multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities with flexibility when needed.

• Interact with product teams to validate decisions, verify the accuracy of the planned delivery, promote adoption of product completion, and provide training tools/documentation wherever needed to drive success.

• Provide reporting for senior management outlining the performance of the product and success of new commercials

You’ll need to have:

• 10+ years of Municipal experience and deep working knowledge of Bloomberg systems

• Bachelors in business or finance; MBA and/or CFA is a plus

• Understanding of the products and services offered by Muni BVAL to allow engagement with clients who use BVAL for NAV, P&L and/or risk analytic purposes.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze solutions and to make strategic decisions informed by the business

• Marketing and sales familiarity that will lend a hand to helping demonstrate the value of Muni BVAL pricing

• High attention to detail to ensure risk mitigation and quality associated with new product roll outs

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and mature judgment

• Strong organizational skills, and an ability to connect multiple threads of work

• Familiarity with Agile framework and reporting standards
