Role reports to: Head of Franchise Quality

Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025. The role can also sit at one of the following locations: Shanghai, Bangalore, Zug, Sweden, or Germany.

Travel %: 10% (Domestic and International)

Pay: In the US in this position ranges from $97,000 to $166,750.

What you will do

The Technical Reliability Manager will serve as a subject matter expert in Kenvue's Product Reliability team in one of three product formats: solids, liquids, or semi-solids. Using a never-ending pursuit of continuous improvement, this role will engage broadly throughout the organization to positively impact product reliability, compliance, and performance.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, championing proactive quality through effective CAPA deployment, approval of specific technical documents like root cause analysis and CAPA identification associated with technical commercial investigations, approval of material source change reports (MARs), and approval of various technical reports generated from compliance programs (e.g. nitrosamine, residual solvent, and elemental impurity reports).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement technical reliability strategies and procedures to ensure optimal system performance.

Championing proactive quality through effective CAPA deployment.

Approval of specific technical documents like root cause analysis and CAPA identification associated with technical commercial investigations.

Approval of material source change reports (MARs), and approval of various technical reports generated from compliance programs (e.g. nitrosamine, residual solvent, and elemental impurity reports).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.

Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

Continuously monitor and analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.

Improve end-to-end products by supporting design, deployment, operation, and continuous improvement.

Root cause analysis and CAPA determination associated with technical product investigations, including accountability to proactively identify and deploy CAPAs proven effective.

Approval of Material Analytical Reports and various other technical reports generated from compliance programs.

Identification of proactive projects and activities to improve technical attributes of product performance, compliance, and reliability.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience with evidence of progressive increase in responsibility in manufacturing, technical operations, or technical quality functions for regulated consumer products.

Minimum of 2 years experience in root cause analysis and/or leading complex investigations resulting in effective CAPA identification.

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering or related scientific field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Technical understanding of Consumer technologies, product design, process controls and organizational capabilities

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business partners

Exhibits discipline in execution

Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
