Role reports to: HCP Lead

Location: Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in early 2025.

Travel : 75%

Pay: 92 ,000.00 - 149,500.00

What you will do

We are looking for a talent to join the North America Healthcare Professional Team based in Summit/Skillman NJ, USA, as a Professional Conference Specialist, part of the HCP Professional Capabilities & Operation Team. The Healthcare Professional Conference Specialist will be responsible for driving executional excellence - supporting planning and coordinating activities across conferences in North America; tackling any challenges that arise with poise and efficiency.

Scope of Responsibilities Include:
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop annual calendar for event execution. Schedule and lead planning meetings with stakeholders. Collaborate with Sales team to staff conferences.
Event Management: Plan and execute national and local/regional level conferences for the US business (approx. 12-15 tradeshows per year, 20-25 local/regional events per year), including:
On-site execution of the event including leading pre-con meetings, vendor load in and set up, on-site registration management, staffing management, etc.
Project management of event registration websites and mobile app builds.
Maintenance of Brand Dashboards and Master Calendars.
Travel, mostly weekends, on-site to provide marketing support, conduct walk-thru with brand leads and agencies, pre-show rep training at the booth,
Vendor Management: Handle vendor and association relationships and supervise all event activities including but not limited to, payment, housing, badges & food/beverage.
Performance Analytics: Conduct post-event analysis, sharing insights and finding opportunities to improve year over year. Maintain tracking of all shows and events and related expenses.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organizational policies at all events including submission of Certificate of Insurance.
Expenses & Inventory: Manage conference expenses on the Meeting card and submit in a timely manner. Audit booth asset inventory

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in conference and event management within North America.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale conferences and events.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen ability to build relationships and influence across teams.
Self-starter able to function independently with limited work direction and escalates as appropriate, with the ability to multi-task.
Comfortable with managing change and flexing to circumstances that arise.
Strong verbal, written & presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
Availability to work nights and weekends as needed for event execution
Ability to travel up to 75% majority of travel is domestic with a possibility of international travel.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

What's in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $92,000.00 to $149,500.00.This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
